New Landscaped Garden in Bangkok

Thai Garden Design, Thailand's Favourite Landscaping Company, were called to a large garden in Bangkok which suffered from a few of the usual suspects – bad grass, lack of attractive planting, dry, and unappealing. The English owner was interested in creating a lush, colourful, tropical walkway along the three sides of his raised pool terrace.

The Lady Palm (Rhapis)

rhapis lady palm
This fan palm is a native of China, and is common in many Thailand landscapes, rural and urban. It grows in batches, with multiple fan-shaped leaves. Rhapis does well in shade and darker regions, and so is a great accompaniment in otherwise 'difficult-to-grow' garden areas. It is also a very popular and prolific indoor palm. Although capable of growth of up to […]

New Tropical Garden in Pattaya

As can be seen in the picture below, this Pattaya garden was in need of help. The view from the driveway was a mix of sandy grass and old paving stones, a green water tank and sparse planting. The owner was interested in creating a lush walkway with tropical planting that would also help hide the view into the rest of the garden space.

Waterfall Feature for Small Bangkok Garden

Often there are regions within Thai gardens where it is hard to cultivate grass or plants. There can be many reasons why this happens, but usually it is due to heavy shade, or excess water run-off during wet seasons. In this example, a homeowner in Bangkok was fed up with trying to grow grass in his small front garden and asked the design team at Pornchai Garden to come up with some suggestions.

Wall Demolition and Removal in Thailand

Sometimes, garden and landscape design in Thailand isn't pretty. For instance, at some point, you may need a wall demolished and removed. Due to the nature of the construction within Bangkok and Thailand, walls may have deep foundations and footings, sometimes making their removal a little more 'industrial', particularly if you have a long, or large wall.
