Large Waterfall and Stream Work at Thai Resort

Pornchai Garden were commissioned to create this large artificial waterfall at the top of this existing stream at a resort in Thailand. After several weeks work, the head of the waterfall is complete, and with a newly installed pump and system, water is now able to flow down freely down the stream.

If creating an artificial stream or ornamental water in your Thai garden is innappropriate or out of budget, an attractive alternative might be to simulate the effect of running water with the use of river pebbles and stones, creating a river 'effect,' maybe along a bed, or running downhill through the garden.
The Jatropha integerrima, commonly known as peregrina, or spicy jatropha, is a decorative shrub with distinctive lance-shaped, bright green leaves, dotted with deep pink or red flowers all over.

Water has been used extensively in ancient Thai gardens for generations. This is due to its cooling qualities and the way it can re-awaken the senses, its movement and the reflections it creates can prove very eye-catching, and beneficial to many Thai landscapes.![water [...]
