A very popular ground cover in Thai gardens, the กนกลาย, or sanchezia speciosa (aka gold vein plant) is a lush colourful perennial shrub that is able to grow up to 6ft in good conditions. Its variegated, smooth and attractive leaves make it a popular foliage in any Thai tropical landscape or garden.
This large house in Bangkok required extensive landscaping and planting work within its large front garden. The owners wanted a complete overhaul of the existing garden, re-grassing, flattening of hilly areas, plus new trees to be brought in and planted along with a new planting scheme.
