This garden is really a suitable design for most medium to large sized gardens in Thailand, with the design enveloping three sides of the home, but is scaleable and can be adapted to smaller or thinner landscapes.
The garden's main purpose is to create a lush tropical retreat, with lots of different plant species, shrubs and trees planted throughout, creating a garden of vibrant colour with lots of shade. Access is granted by one main pathway, which winds through the garden from one end of the house to the other. There is also a central region that can be used as a recreational area or focal point in the garden, maybe a pond, rockery, spirit house or all three.
The gazebo at the top is ideal for sitting, relaxing, entertaining and eating outside.
