Thai Garden Design just installed this new garden at a beautiful new home in 'the Views' residence near the Banyan Golf Club in Hua Hin. As can be seen from the before picture below, the landscape was barren, with only builders waste and hard ground in abundance.
The team began by creating a bespoke garden design for the owner, who loved the direction and agreed to the installation. Operating on a budget, team slimmed down the plant list to suit, and got to work.
Firstly, all the waste was removed from the plot, including hard concrete pits created by the builders. The underlying soil was broken up to improve drainage, and new topsoil was delivered and spread. Keeping everything constantly moist, the new lawn was laid, pavers set, and planting installed.
In time and with some basic maintenance, this garden will flourish. The owners were informed that it should be at least 2 weeks before setting foot on the grass, so the roots can penetrate the underlying soil. Also watering instructions and schedule were advised.
