Thai Garden Design recently helped a homeowner in Rayong province to design and build his new poolside sala, at his newly built, modern home.
Having just designed and built a large pool along the one entire side of the home, he was interested in garden ideas, and installing a sala as a main gateway into the pool area.
This sala itself stands approximately 4.0 x 4.0m width, with partially cladded concrete columns that match the home design, an interior fan, plus down lights on each column, and a traditional Thai style fish-scale roof tile.
The sala is now a nice addition at the entrance to the home, somewhere to relax poolside under cover. A great place to host drinks, sit for dinner, or read the morning paper.
