This raised Wood Plastic Composite Decking (WPC) was recently constructed for a Bangkok Family who were rehousing their old Spirit House. A natural low dip in the corner of the plot, the Family wanted to create a raised deck that would be strong enough to hold a heavy concrete Spirit House.

As can be seen from the photos, the team constructed a strong steel frame ontop of thick concrete footings.

Attractive, Simple and Strong
Options on the Decking colour and style were offered and chosen by the customer. The team installed these on top of the framework, using galvanized clips, meaning no need for exposed screws.

An straight bridge is constructed over the lower land and ensures easy access onto the main deck. Simple bench seats and a steel railing were also discussed, designed and installed.

The Family were extremely happy with their new deck, which has been build to last. If you have a special project that needs attentive care and design, you’re in the right place! Contact the Thai Garden Design team here.
