Thai Garden Design has been working with AsiaWorld Enterprise to landscape their entire company headquarters. When designing the new layout our designers were asked to think up creative ways of using even excluded utility areas which are normally ignored and used for placing air conditioners, power lines or even simply as rubbish tips.
Our design team thought that though the space is not generally used by the public or staff at AsiaWorld, there was no reason for this area to be simple waste ground and resolved to renovate it so as to make it into an attractive throughway. In order to do this they had to consider the problems caused by limited light availability and budget for what was a minor part of a much larger, ongoing project.
Our team resolved this by choosing to create a pebble garden combining various sized and coloured rocks and stones along with hardy Asok trees along the perimeter wall and various other shade plants to bring further colour to the beds alongside the walkway, as well as Foxtail Palms for overhead coverage.
