Thai Garden Design have one of their main offices in Hua Hin, Thailand, and so it’s a key area where we visit, survey, design and install Contemporary tropical gardens in Thailand.
In this example, the team were contacted by a resident of Palm Hills Golf Club, Cha Am, to survey and make suggestions for their family garden. The large modern home was being a little bit let down by a tired, haphazardly planted garden space.
The team made suggestions to improve the key areas around the home; and after sketches and planning were approved, we set about making the transformation.
The team had a set date to be finished by (a family party) so all teams were busy for around 10 days. The results were stunning!
New trees were employed throughout the front and side gardens, with a collection of tried and tested, low maintenance shrubs and medium height palms (lipstick palms, areca palms, fan palms to name just a few).
A fully automatic sprinkler system was also installed, to ensure the future health of the garden, without reliance on local garden staff.
Areas close to the main living areas of the home were transformed as well, with use of modern pavers, pebbles and artificial grass, for a low maintenance, stunning views.
