Many foreign owned plots are developed on estates. As these plots are planned, many have square gardens at the back of the plot. The above is one such design for this type of property.
The garden seeks to develop formal areas for recreational purposes and children, as well as take advantage of the Thai climate by setting aside large areas on the outskirts of the garden for Thai plants, trees and tropical beds. These planted areas are important, as if they are planned and planted correctly, they will develop vital shaded regions and help to cool your Thai garden.
There is also space set aside at the front for a small foot pool or water feature.
