Thai Garden Design recently partnered to help design the planting scheme and landscape for a new club venture in Khao San Road. SuperFlow Beach Club is the first open air nightclub to open in Thailand. The concept design includes real sand floors and bamboo style huts and bars, and so the team helped to design a low maintenance planting theme to match the direction. Part of the job was to install two very tall 6.0m coconut trees which would offer up shade and an authentic atmosphere (see picture below).
The trees work very well planted within the sand floor area, with the surrounding grass roofing and stamped concrete floor.
