The team at Thai Garden Design just worked with a homeowner in Hua Hin to design and install this unique Thai sala and garden for his large back garden in a popular residence resort in Hua Hin, The owner, having experience in garden design and landscaping had clear ideas on what he wanted to achieve, and so the team were happy to oblige and partner to create this wonderfully unique garden.
The garden consists of a large central wooden sala, with wooden deck and Thai fish scale roof tiles, exposed beams, and electrical switches, down lights and fan.
To one side, a natural lotus pond, with a small filtration unit fitted as standard and some of the owners own rocks and lotus plants to decorate the inside.
To the other side, along with anti weed underlay, a pea gravel rock garden was installed, with several lipstick palms and large boulders employed to break up this large area.
A hardwood pergola serves as a walkway between the main home and the sala, with in ground concrete pavers; constructed by the team to the required size. Creeper plants have been planted and trained around the columns, which should rapidly grow and cover the top of the pergola.
