This traditional ‘fish-scale’ roof sala was recently designed and constructed at an Expat’s home in Jomtien, Pattaya. The owner wanted to build a covered area for their barbeque terrace; one that matched well with the house, and in a traditional Thai style.
The team got to work, purchasing and preparing all the wood before bringing on site. Once the build started, the entire job was finished in 9 days.
Part of the design included a bench seat that ran from the left columns, enclosing the sala and that side of the garden, as well as offering an easy place to rest and relax.
