The Thai Garden Design team recently completed a project for a villa owner in the esteemed Le Lua project, in Hua Hin. The project has been in development for around 1 year, and includes a completely new tropical garden installation (covered in a later post) and part of the project was the design of this impressively modern rooftop garden, looking out across the countryside and mountains of Hua Hin.
The team also designed and built this lovely elegant rooftop shower, made from stylish sandstone tiles, and a stacked slate column running up the centre of the shower. Glazed black and white pebbles were used to decorate the balcony areas, beyond the glass screens.
The team also built in planters into the side walls, taking into account drainage needs and durability of the planting plan. The rooftop also has an automatic sprinkler system installed. Modern fiberglass pots from Capi were also sourced and used to house a nice selection of low maintenance, architectural style plants.
