Sansevieria 'Golden Hahnii' is a member of the agave family (Agavaceae) containing approximately 60 species indigenous to Africa, Arabia, and India. It is a common garden feature, and also suitable for use as interior foliage plants. With remarkable, branching, ginger like stems, Indonesian Wax Ginger prefers semi-shade and rich moist soil. The are known also as Tapeinochilus Ananassae. Alpinia grows in clusters and consists of long stems and large leaves. A.purpurata, or red ginger, has bright red bracts that largely cover it's hidden white flowers.
