The new Sands Condominium project, located on the upmarket Pratumnak beach in Jomtien, contact Thai Garden Design to assist them with the re-design and installation of their vitally important pool terrace, located on the 14th floor of the 27 floor building.
Potential new buyers were visiting the project everyday, but due to the strains of building a project of this scale, they thought it important to reach out to a dedicated landscaping contractor, to assist their build team and ‘speed up’ the process.
Creating Wow Factor …
After design consultations the management at Sands and Thai Garden Design agreed on a landscape plan and work began. Essentially the installation would involve installing high grade artificial turf on large sections of the roof top, along with proper drainage features, as well as a selection of impressive pool palms and plants to add tropical verve and colour.
The overall key was to create a low maintenance, modern tropical pool terrace, which would draw buyers who would immediately see the wonderful views of the bay. The pool terrace design would therefore be an important part of the sales process of the Sands management team.
The new pool terrace is a sight to behold, with subtle colour added from the low key planting, a striking contrast of blue from the impressive panoramic horizon along with the ‘jewel green’ of the turf.
At one side, the Thai Garden Design team also added a shaded WPC (wood plastic composite) decked area, where residents can calmly enjoy the pool and view, whilst sipping a cocktail, or reading a good book!
