Pranburi Stamped Concrete Terrace

The landscaping team at Thai Garden Design recently installed this stamped concrete terrace at a home in Pranburi, Prauchuap Khiri Khan. The owners had recently finished the house build, and had a large garden space that was mainly grass and some boundary planting. They wanted to be 'enticed' into the garden, and therefore some work needed to be done. The guesthouse situated on the right hand side somehow had to be connected with the pool on the left, and with access from the main home.

The team discussed options with the owners, and agreed a stamped concrete terrace would work the best, aesthetically, and in the long term. A pattern and colour were chosen, and work began. After one week, the 80 sqm terrace was complete, and improved planting and large granite pavers were installed (see plan below).

The resulting terrace now makes access and use of this large garden easy, and inviting. Once an area seldom used, now, the new terrace can be utilised for parties, dining, or just general relaxation. The main home is connected to the guest house, sala and pool, and the improved planting make the general view from the house terrace more pleasant, and which in time will grow and flourish (see below).
