Custom Built Teak Wood Seating Area in Thailand

The Pornchai Garden team includes experts in wood working and carpentry.

The landscape in question was a newly built garden area which had been used for general access by the builders, which after some weeks had left it completely unsuited to any type of planting or grass.

The new teak wood seating and deck area takes up a large section of the landscape. Built completely in teak, with natural wooden pillars, a pergola style roof offering shade, and seating and split level decking, this new wooden structure has made this section of the landscape usable again. Around the structure, grass has been properly laid and installed, with planting around the outskirts and base of the walls.

The customer was extremly pleased with the final structure, which was completely designed and constructed by the Pornchai Garden team.

House Pergola in Pattaya

A customer contacted Pornchai Garden requiring a new pergola with raised tiled floor to be constructed on the back of their home in Pattaya. The new pergola was to be utilised as a sheltered outdoor seating and dining area.

The Pornchai Garden team created several different design drawings in 2D and 3D for the customer before a final design was agreed.

The Pornchai Garden team consists of experienced carpenters and builders, who began work constructing the pergola at the clients home.

4 days later, the pergola is finished with an 'imitation wood' tiled floor, built on top of a sturdy concrete base with piling. Switches, lighting and electric fans are all included, with a polycarbon roof to keep the rains outside... The pergola has added a new shaded outdoor relaxation area to this house and garden in Pattaya.

Construction of Natural Stream and Jungle Concept in Bang Khae, Bangkok

The owners of this house in Bang Khae, Bangkok, require an extensively planted jungle setting; with a medium sized natural rock stream flowing the length of the garden.

As can be seen from the picture above, the initial garden consists of hard, dry earth with little else.

The Pornchai Garden Team will create a new, authentic jungle setting which will completely transform this garden. The stream will be powered with a water pump at the main focal point, which will be a built-up natural waterfall rockery at one end of the garden. The water will then flow the length of the feature, and be reverted back up to the top of the stream.

The new garden will also include a complete sprinkler system, trees, new planting scheme and natural pathways. Updated pictures will be on site soon.

Tropical Pergola Design in Thailand

A popular alternative to the (roofed) Thai sala, the pergola has a open beam roof which looks fantastic within a backdrop of Thai tropical plants and trees. The open beam roof is often covered in polycarbon sheets or material, to keep the inside of the pergola dry during wet periods.
