Thai Garden Design recently completed this modern garden water feature at a residence in Bangkok.
As part of an overall design, the customer wanted to construct a complete concrete runway water feature running the length of their garden.
The Thai Garden Team constructed the structure with a concrete and steel mesh foundation and aesthetically installed all the required plumbing work. The runway was then built and painted white, and finally coated with a water resistant paint to ensure longevity. When turned on, the water springs into action, and flows the length of the runway, filling the pools of various depths. Once the water reached the final pool, it is then reverted back to the top of the feature.
An attractive 'dry wall' was also built over part of the feature, and the design included room for planting along the back wall. The raised decking you can see was also built by the Pornchai team, and spotlights were installed throughout the garden space to hightlight key areas at night times.
