Garden Sala in Bangkok – Part 1

Thai Garden Design recently designed and constructed a large, modern style garden sala at the home of an expat residing in Bangkok. Amongst other garden changes, the sala represented possibly the most important aspect of the build, being that the owner wanted to change the character of his garden, from one that used the lawn for play, to a garden that could use this area for relaxing.

The sala design consisted of an adjacent pond, with waterfall, built in seating around x2 sides, crazy paved steps, a large cupboard for the BBQ, a tiled floor, guttering (linked to the pond) and fitted electrics for lights, fans, and the pond pump.

  1. Not only has this tract of land been used for aesthetic purposes and as a playground for children, it’s also become the perfect spot for R & R. It now looks like a cottage resort!
