During the design of your Thai terrace or patio, you may have some
ideas about how to make it more individual, possibly you'd like to
include some unique elements or artistry in the final design.
In this example,
Pornchai Garden were involved in the design of a concrete patio near to the clients main house. There is alot of surrounding
water, and so the client was quite keen to have a line of fish shapes
'swimming' up from the main walkway next to the terrace.
Firstly, the team laid an
initial concrete foundation. Before the second layer is floated, shapes and patterns can be designed on the first
concrete layer, literally anthing can patterned, so let your imagination run wild.!
In this example, concrete is set into the fish template, with
broken tiles used to create the fish shape on the surface. Once these new shapes have
set, the final sandwash concrete layer is laid alongside, to finish the
terrace.
The end result is that the happy client has a new patio design, unique to their landscape.
